James Hunt
James Hunt is a seasoned healthcare and public safety professional with over 21 years as a certified Paramedic and over 17 years of service as a Firefighter and Fire Lieutenant. His career has been defined by leadership under pressure, clinical excellence, and a deep-rooted commitment to serving others.
Born in California and lived teenage years in Georgia, James moved to Colorado in 1998, where he launched his EMS and fire service career. Over nearly two decades, he rose through the ranks, teaching and mentoring new responders, managing emergency scenes, and upholding the highest standards of care and teamwork.
James has worked in customer service since age 17, a foundation that shaped his people-first approach in both emergency medicine and leadership. He believes that clear communication, empathy, and professionalism are as important as technical skills.
Now based in North Carolina, James is part of the ownership of NC Mobile IV Medics, bringing mobile IV therapy and wellness services directly to patients with the same dedication and integrity that have defined his career.
Brook Dougherty
Brook was born in Wyoming and has called Colorado home for the past 30 years. With a background in veterinary medicine, she spent much of her career working as a dedicated veterinary technician.
Brook has a passion for travel, fitness, discovering fun places to try new food, relaxing at the beach or on a lake, and spending quality time with her husband James and their French Bulldog mix Tater Tot, as well as with family and friends.
In 2025, Brook made the move to Wilmington, North Carolina, to co-found North Carolina Mobile IV Medics (NCMIVM) alongside James and close friends. Drawn by the coastal lifestyle, she’s enjoying more time by the beach while playing an essential behind-the-scenes role in keeping NCMIVM running smoothly.
